In the Welsh Wind is a craft distillery near Cardigan Bay, creating small batch, award-winning Welsh gins, vodka, rum and whisky. Inspired by nature and the dramatic Welsh landscape, they craft premium artisan spirits that capture the essence and character of the land and coast: inherently and proudly Welsh, from grain to glass. The agency was tasked with expanding on the current brand by exploring a more evocative and poetic narrative. We homed in on the core philosophy of the distillery founders – nature and sustainability. Messaging was developed to convey a sense of these values, with a subtext of exclusivity for customers with discerning tastes. 

An e-commerce website was developed with evocative banner images, signature typography and a rich colour palette to complement the beautiful bottle label designs and brand narrative. Instagram and digital advertising also expanded on this.
