York Coffee Emporium is a York-based artisan coffee roasters who wanted to increase their reach and brand visibility with a complete brand refresh. We focused on developing an expansive and immersive world by creating coffee “characters” that reflect each coffee’s unique character and flavour profiles which helped to differentiate blends and single origin coffees. Elements were created using stock photography, Adobe Illustrator and generative AI, collaged and retouching to create coffee characters and surreal worlds. These were implemented on label designs for the coffee bags incorporating custom illustrations made with digital collage. View packaging work on additional portfolio page.
The brand identity was rolled out across a new website, email marketing, animations and social media, enabling York Coffee Emporium to communicate with customers in a fun and engaging way – quintessentially British with a playful and quirky tone.
